HG is delighted to announce the recent appointment of Ms Jenelle Matic to the position of Chief Operating Officer at Cairns & Hinterland Hospital & Health Service (CHHHS).
Jenelle possesses a wealth of healthcare management experience with a strong background in both clinical and business aspects, spanning over a decade in various senior leadership roles in New South Wales. Before she took on this role, Jenelle held the position of General Manager at Westmead Hospital, where she oversaw 7,000+ staff, supported the facility through the Covid-19 surge, and with strong clinician relationships, ensured safe and high-quality care.
Jenelle holds a Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Business Administration, focusing on Health Management.

Complex Hospital Operations across both the public and private sectors as well as Primary and Community Care, where he has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive both clinical and operational excellence.
Greg was previously the General Manager at Mount Hospital, Healthscope Australia, where he led numerous strategic, Operational and Clinical Initiatives that significantly enhanced the hospital’s performance.
