The role is accountable for safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care, workforce engagement, financial sustainability, and service innovation. It also plays a pivotal role in building strong partnerships with consumers, carers, primary care providers, and government agencies to improve health outcomes and ensure seamless care transitions.
