We are now seeking a Principal Search Consultant with deep expertise in senior medical recruitment. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead high-profile assignments, build enduring client partnerships, and engage exceptional medical leaders who will transform healthcare systems.
THE ROLE
As a Principal Search Consultant, you will:
Mentor and collaborate with researchers and colleagues, contributing to firm-wide knowledge, brand positioning, and presence at industry forums.
- Lead end-to-end executive and specialist medical search campaigns – including appointments such as Chief Medical Officers, Directors of Medical Services, Clinical Directors, and senior specialist consultants.
- Build and expand relationships with hospitals, health services, research institutes, and medical colleges, identifying new opportunities through networks, referrals, and thought leadership.
- Conduct market mapping, proactive sourcing, and structured assessment interviews to evaluate medical leaders’ suitability and alignment with client needs.
- Partner closely with Boards, executives, and senior clinicians to understand organisational context, workforce challenges, and strategic priorities.
THE CANDIDATE
You will bring a proven track record in executive or specialist medical recruitment, ideally gained across complex health systems, along with a deep understanding of the medical leadership landscape and the unique challenges of recruiting clinical executives and scarce specialist talent.
You will also bring:

- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to design tailored recruitment strategies and achieve revenue and placement targets.
- Outstanding communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, enabling trust with senior stakeholders.
