THE OPPORTUNITY
The Client & Commercial Director / Head of Sales leads the revenue growth, client engagement, and partnership strategy for HG’s Leadership & Learning Division. This is best achieved by working closely and collaboratively with colleagues within the Leadership division as well as across the business. Key to success is strengthening HG’s reputation as a trusted partner in leadership development to the sectors we serve across Australia and New Zealand.
You will:
- Shape and successfully execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy aligned with organisational objectives and growth plans.
- Lead and develop the sales and account management team, embedding a culture of success, accountability, learning, and innovation
- Use data-driven insights to enhance sales effectiveness and forecasting accuracy, ensuring individual and team revenue targets are met
- Build and maintain high-trust relationships with C-suite and senior executives.
- Collaborate with learning and design teams to ensure products reflect market needs and client value.
THE CANDIDATE
You will have:
- Experience leading within a commercial or professional services environment with products and services focused on leadership development
- Demonstrated ability to establish and sustain strategic partnerships with clients, including C-suite executives, HR leaders, and industry partners
- Proven capability in developing and executing innovative, insight-driven sales and marketing plans
- A track record of exceeding revenue and growth KPIs, including ones own as well as individual and the teams,
- Advanced proficiency in CRM and sales management systems, with demonstrated experience in using digital platforms, analytics, and marketing technologies to enhance client engagement and operational efficiency.
