Brendon Cutmore is currently the Director Information and Performance Support – NSW Regional Health Division, NSW Health. Prior to this appointment, he was the Executive Director of Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing for Western NSW Local Health District . As The Executive Director of Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing at Western NSW Local Health District, Brendon Cutmore focused on helping transform the organisation’s services, creating a whole of system health promotion and prevention strategies that made a difference in the lives of the 280,000 people across their communities, including making meaningful gains in the health of over 30,000 Aboriginal people in the region. In this video, Brendon further shares his experience being a First Nations Leader in line with this year’s NAIDOC theme, Get up, Stand Up and Show Up. Touching on his upbringing, community and family, we bring to light his personal experiences shaping not only the types of services NSW Health provides but also the policy designs made in partnership with Aboriginal people.
