HG is seeking an exceptional leader to join our executive team as the inaugural Head of Sales / Commercial Director.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Head of Sales / Commercial Director will lead the sales strategy and execution across HG’s Leadership and Learning division. This role combines strategic leadership, client engagement, and team development to drive sustainable revenue growth and market expansion. You will lead from the front — building relationships, identifying opportunities, mentoring the sales team, and ensuring our sales strategy aligns with market needs and organisational strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute the sales strategy aligned with HG’s strategic plan
- Lead, coach and grow a high-performing sales team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Personally contribute to sales and major client negotiations
- Monitor performance, pipeline, and forecasting through CRM and
- Identify market opportunities, partnerships, and new growth areas
- Work closely with marketing and product teams on value proposition, pricing and campaigns
THE CANDIDATE
