The Women’s Staff Scholarship program

29 Nov 2025

At HardyGroup, we are proud to continue supporting The Royal Women’s Hospital Staff Scholarship Program and the meaningful impact it creates across the organisation.

Together with fellow supporters, we are helping open doors to valuable professional development opportunities for nurses, midwives, allied health clinicians, administrative teams, and consumer representatives throughout the hospital.

Supporting leadership, learning, and career growth sits at the heart of what we do. It is incredibly rewarding to see Women’s staff empowered to deepen their expertise, drive innovation, strengthen leadership capability, and continue delivering the exceptional, compassionate, patient-centred care the Women’s is known for.

Jessie Zhou received the 2025 HardyGroup Staff Scholarship

Jessie Zhou received the 2025 HardyGroup Staff Scholarship to undertake her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) course with CPA Australia.

The course strengthened Jessie’s understanding of ethical decision-making, corporate governance frameworks, and professional responsibilities. This professional development enhanced her critical thinking, judgement, and confidence in applying ethical principles, particularly in her Patient Accounts role where accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity are essential.

As a result, Jessie is better equipped to manage sensitive billing matters, payment arrangements, and financial information with fairness and consistency. For the Women’s, Jessie’s enhanced knowledge supports compliant, transparent, and ethical financial practices, while for patients it contributes to clearer communication, respectful handling of accounts, and increased trust in billing processes.

Thanks to being able to undertake the CPA training, Jessie will take a more structured and proactive approach to decision-making, placing greater emphasis on transparency, accountability, and policy adherence. She will also be more alert to potential ethical issues, reinforcing a high standard of integrity in her day-to-day practice.
