THE OPPORTUNITY
HardyGroup is expanding its busy New Zealand executive search practice and is seeking a proactive and highly organised Executive Search Coordinator to join our team in Wellington.
At HardyGroup, you’ll be part of a values-driven organisation committed to developing people and strengthening leadership across health, human services, government and the for-purpose sector. Working in a supportive, close-knit team, you’ll have opportunities for professional growth while contributing to leadership appointments that make a meaningful difference. The role offers the flexibility of hybrid working between home and our Te Aro office.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Executive Director, Search & Recruitment, you will work closely with experienced consultants, clients and candidates to ensure the smooth delivery of executive search assignments, primarily across New Zealand while also supporting our Australian business.
From preparing high-quality candidate documentation and managing search timelines to coordinating interviews across multiple time zones, maintaining accurate CRM records and supporting candidate research, your organisation and attention to detail will be essential. You’ll play an important role in delivering exceptional client and candidate experiences while upholding HardyGroup’s reputation for quality, professionalism and results.
THE CANDIDATE
You will thrive in a dynamic environment, bringing strong organisational skills, initiative and the ability to confidently manage competing priorities. A natural communicator and collaborative team player, you’ll enjoy building relationships, solving problems and ensuring things run smoothly.
Experience in recruitment coordination, executive administration or professional services will be advantageous, alongside confidence using CRM systems and digital tools. You’ll bring sound judgement, discretion and an appreciation of Aotearoa New Zealand’s cultural context, including basic te reo Māori capability and a willingness to continue learning.
HOW TO APPLY
If you’re ready to bring your organisational skills, people focus, and energy to a role that mixes variety with some steady routines, we’d love to hear from you. Send your CV and cover letter.
Candidates must have permanent work rights in New Zealand.
