Canberra Health Services (CHS) provides acute, subacute, primary, and community‐based health services, to the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and surrounding region through the delivery of high quality, effective, person-centered care. ACT Pathology provides specialist pathology services at Canberra Hospital, North Canberra Hospital, University of Canberra Hospital, National Capital Private Hospital and in the community through collection centres located across Canberra.
THE ROLE
The Director of Pathology is responsible for the delivery of critical pathology services to Canberra and the surrounding region, directing the successful operations of the region’s major public pathology service.
This role presents a unique opportunity for the right candidate to lead the design of a brand-new build for the service and expand the footprint of services through partnerships and the continued implementation of the Digital Health Record, ensuring that the service is leading edge and sustainable into the future.
