WACHS Pilbara is seeking to appoint a Regional Director of Nursing and Midwifery. This is an opportunity to provide strategic and operational leadership in nursing across the Pilbara in a leading health care service.

The role is responsible for providing executive level clinical and strategic nursing and midwifery leadership, management and governance within the region. The role also includes further development of the regional health network, progression of the health reform strategy, continuous quality improvement and improving patient safety.

To be a strong candidate for the role you will have:

• Significant experience in nursing leadership and healthcare management

• Be recognised as a strategic, contemporary and transformative nursing leader who can contribute to the

overall leadership of the Pilbara Health Region

• Experience in leading successful change and developing models of service delivery across the continuum of

   care including acute, aged care, community and mental health

• A passion to live as part of, and contribute to, a vibrant region of Western Australian

Reporting to the Regional Director of the WACHS Pilbara Region you will work in collaboration with the executive team to assist and provide service direction, service coordination and maintain clinical standards and patient safety.
