Pinnacle Midlands Health Network (MHN) is a not-for-profit operational arm of the group, designed to deliver PHO functions and support all Pinnacle general practices. MHN is the engine room for Pinnacle Incorporated, supporting the day-to-day activity that takes place in general practice and wider community settings. Pinnacle Midlands Health Network is seeking a General Manager – Corporate Services. This executive management position provides high level strategic and operational oversight of Pinnacle Corporate Services, which includes finance, asset management, legal and risk, and administration and communications. This includes business management and commercial advice to our subsidiary practice ownership group Primary Health Care Limited. The General Manager – Corporate Services will be an experienced commercial manager with membership with New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.
The General Manager – Corporate Services is responsible for compliance with statutory and contractual provisions. As a Leadership Team member, the General Manager – Corporate Services will also play an important role in collaborating with all levels of management in implementing, monitoring, and reviewing organisational strategy
An ideal candidate for the role of General Manager – Corporate Services with Pinnacle Midlands Health Network will demonstrate skill and knowledge in the following areas:
- Financial responsibility for multiple entities and consolidated reporting
- Experience in reporting to a Board including financial, audit and risk portfolio management
- Leadership of a diverse management team
- Understand inequities in health experienced by patients in our communities
- Strategic thinking abilities and sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outcome focused, with the ability to prioritise, set goals and achieve results
- Adaptable and resilient
- Commitment to providing professional service
They will also hold a Bachelor’s degree in a business, accounting or equivalent, and additional qualifications, particularly in strategic leadership and change management would be an advantage.
