Hospitals North Tasmania encompasses Launceston General Hospital and eight District Hospitals,
including: Deloraine, Campbelltown, Georgetown, St Helens, St Marys, Beaconsfield, Scottsdale and Flinders Island as well as two community health centres. Launceston General Hospital is a regional hospital with 450 beds providing most specialities and is an accredited teaching hospital University of Tasmania.
As the Executive Director, Nursing and Midwifery you will bring:
- A track record of executive clinical leadership in a major healthcare setting

As the principal Nursing and Midwifery advisor within Hospitals North, you will provide leadership in developing, fostering and supporting a professional culture aligned to the organisation’s values, while promoting and supporting nursing and midwifery clinical excellence through education, professional development, and research. - You will be an experienced nursing leader with a track record of successful operational achievement in a tertiary public healthcare environment. You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be recognised for your collaborative style, and your ability to inspire to manage change while championing outstanding patient care.
- You will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
