WACHS is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated person to provide high-level nursing clinical and leadership, management and governance within the West Pilbara District in partnership with staff and other health care providers and non-health agencies.
The District Director of Nursing and Midwifery will be responsible for providing support to the Regional Director of Nursing & Midwifery, Operations Manager and Regional Executive in developing and implementing the strategic directions for the Regional Health Network including progression of the health reform strategy, continuous quality improvement and improving patient safety.
To be a strong candidate for the role you will demonstrate:
- Significant nursing management experience
- Demonstrated professional leadership & governance
- Clinical Leadership experience

Reporting to the Operations Director of the WACHS Pilbara Region you will work in collaboration with the team to assist and provide service direction, service coordination and maintain clinical standards and patient safety.
