THE OPPORTUNITY

WITT is looking for their next Chief Executive to lead the organisation into the future. They are looking for an experienced leader with a depth of understanding of the mental health and addictions sector and/or social housing, a commitment to tikanga and the ability to engage with a range of key stakeholders. Based in the beautiful Hawkes Bay WITT is deeply committed the needs of the community, particularly those who are experiencing mental distress.  

THE CANDIDATE

As the ideal candidate you will have at least five years senior level experience, a suitable tertiary level qualification and the ability to demonstrate your ability to deliver. You will be deeply committed to Te Tiriti O Waitangi and the importance of Tikanga. You will be able to demonstrate sound organisational leadership and financial management.  

You will be a leader who is able to think strategically and develop a compelling vision that brings others along with you. You will be values driven and have a passion for serving people who are experiencing mental health and addiction difficulties or homelessness.
